Alcohol-free Propolaid fensatin drops for the whole family — and they taste good too! Propolaid fensatin drops are a versatile preparation built around a powerful trio: propolis, echinacea and the fensatin compound.

Propolis

The name propolis comes from Greek, from the words pro and polis (“for the city”), and refers to the layer of resin that protects the honeycomb. Propolis resin is made up of substances that bees collect from tree buds and bark, and with it they keep the combs free of bacteria, moulds and viruses. The beehive is in fact one of the most antiseptic places known. As the ancient Greek name suggests, propolis truly protects the bees’ city.

Galangin

To get the full benefit out of propolis, it has to be concentrated into a strong extract. The most important active substance in propolis is galangin, and when choosing propolis products it is worth paying attention to precisely that content. The best propolis preparations are made from an extract whose galangin content is standardised at 12 percent.

Fensatin Compound

In the 1990s, Spanish researchers found that propolis and echinacea work well together. In chemistry, this kind of reaction is known as a synergistic interaction. The researchers registered the echinacea and propolis compound under the name fensatin.
