About biotin
Biotin is also known as vitamin H and is a water-soluble vitamin that is essential for the body. As a water-soluble vitamin, biotin is not stored in the body, but excess biotin is excreted in the urine.

Good sources of biotin from food include egg yolk, liver, grain products and yeast. The bacteria in a healthy gut can also produce biotin itself.
