Saaren Taika Bladderwrack Salicylic Acid Toner is formulated for blemish-prone, easily oily and congestion-prone skin that needs effective cleansing without a drying feel. The light, water-based texture leaves your skin looking cleaner, more matte and more even.

Texture

This light, water-based toner absorbs quickly and doesn’t leave a greasy feel on your skin. Use it morning and evening before serum and moisturiser.

Who It’s For

The toner is formulated for blemish-prone and easily oily skin that also needs light, watery hydration. It suits skin that suffers from blackheads, clogged pores or uneven skin texture. The light texture doesn’t feel heavy on your skin: it cleanses, balances and hydrates all at once.

Scent

The product has the naturally mild scent of linden flower water.

Hand-Harvested Bladderwrack

In our Bladderwrack products, we use only bladderwrack that has been torn loose by storms. We harvest it ourselves, by hand, from a small sea area of approx. 10 square metres in the Bothnian Sea (Pyhämaa – Vakka-Suomi, Uusikaupunki), where it grows naturally in abundance and washes loose after storms. The Bothnian Sea has the cleanest waters in Finland.

Responsible Harvesting

We harvest only a portion of the fresh bladderwrack torn loose by storms. Most of it remains in the sea and on the shores to support nature’s cycle and biodiversity. We never harvest from the banks that pile up on the shore, as they play their own important role in the ecosystem.
